Hemp seed oil is obtained by cold pressing hemp seeds.
It has a yellowish-greenish transparent color. The consistency of the oil is liquid and slightly viscous.
Unrefined hemp seed oil contains a large amount of fatty acids: palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic and others.
It also contains chemical elements necessary for humans (zinc, phosphorus, potassium, iron), fat-soluble vitamins, tannins and antioxidants.
Hemp seed oil has an easily recognizable and very pleasant nutty flavor. The greenish color may confuse some gourmets, but this is a matter of habit. Vegetable oil from hemp seeds is best suited for dressing salads and adding to porridges and baked goods.
